Run menu

Your run is saved as you play.

A daisy is a safe, open tile. Its number tells you how many bees are nearby.

Every touching tile counts, including corners.

A move you can work out

Tap any daisy to see which tiles it counts. Plain grass has no number clue. With Bee sweep, hold an open daisy to uncover its touching tiles without ? or bee marks. An unmarked bee can sting.

Bee markers are your notes, not confirmed bee locations.

A NEW GARDEN CLUE

Meet the flowerbeds

Tiles with the same color belong to one flowerbed. Its total tells you exactly how many bees are in that whole group.

Your garden’s groups. Turn on Visual aid mode in the Run menu if colors are hard to distinguish.

One more way to deduce

Once you’ve worked out where all the bees in a group are, its other covered tiles must be safe. Every row and column still contains exactly one bee.

Tap a colored total below the board to see this again.

Bee markers are your notes, not confirmed bee locations.

How to play

  1. One bee per row and column.

Your goal is to uncover every safe spot, leaving only the bees in hiding.

  2. Tap to mark. Hold to uncover.

Tap a covered spot to cycle through 🐝 → ? → clear. Marks are your notes to help you solve the puzzle; they don’t confirm where bees are.

When you’re sure a spot is safe, press and hold to uncover it. With a mouse, releasing before the charge finishes marks the spot; move away to cancel. On a touchscreen, release a hold early to cancel. Clear a 🐝 mark before uncovering that spot.

  3. Daisy deductions.

A daisy is a safe, open tile. Its number tells you how many bees touch it. All 8 directions count, including diagonals! A 0 means every touching spot is safe. Tap a daisy to learn more

  4. Colored flowerbeds have their own bee totals.

Tiles with the same ground color form a group. The matching total below the board counts all bees in that group. Every row and column still contains exactly one bee. Tap a colored total to learn more. Turn on Visual aid mode in the Run menu to show extra symbols on tiles.

  5. Watch your lives.

New runs give you at least one heart; unused hearts carry over. A bee costs one heart; losing your last life ends the run. Survive a sting and that bee stays uncovered while you keep solving.

Upgrade Extra hearts to carry up to 3 hearts. Each new slot arrives full. Between runs, spend honey to refill missing hearts. Advancing a garden does not heal you.

Keyboard controls

Use the arrow keys to move between spots. Enter marks a spot. Hold Space to uncover it, or press U and confirm. Press Enter or Space on a flower to learn about its clue. Escape closes a window.

Gardens grow to 12 × 12 by level 45. Later levels keep that size and offer fewer starting clues for longer deductions. Every garden still has a path without guessing.

Every puzzle has a logical way through. Power-ups can help keep your run going:

  • Nudge: Gives you a hint and explains the next move. You can hold 2 charges at first.
  • Safe peek: Uncovers one safe spot for you. You can hold 1 charge at first.
  • Bee sweep: After unlocking it, hold a marked bee to uncover its row and column, including lilies, if your mark is right. Or hold any open lily to uncover every touching tile that is not marked ? or bee. An unmarked bee can sting, and a wrong bee mark spends a sweep.

Use a charge when you need help. Bee sweep gives one charge per rank, and all its charges refill automatically at the start of every garden. There are no paid Bee sweep refills. Hearts, Nudge, and Peek refills charge only for missing supplies: two hearts and one Nudge cost 2,050 honey. These refills are available only between runs. Nudge and Peek charges carry between runs. Existing capacity and supply purchases keep their benefits, and previously purchased Bee sweep charges remain usable as a reserve.

Extra hearts has a maximum of 3 hearts. Lily luck starts at a 10% flower-clue chance from level 4 and adds 5 percentage points per rank, up to 100%. Starting clues are guaranteed. Head start opens more safe spots at the start of each garden. Bee sweep rank 1 costs 50,000 honey, rank 2 costs 100,000, and rank 3 costs 150,000. Each later rank costs 50,000 more and adds another sweep per garden. Other upgrade ranks cost more as they grow.

Each fully completed garden pays level × bee count in honey. Unfinished gardens earn no honey. Run honey stays locked until death or retirement banks it. Between runs, spend banked honey on refills or save for permanent upgrades.
